Hey all,
I just wanted to give you all a heads up with what's currently going on with tradeskills and some of the things that you'll be seeing in the near future. I'm going to be listing these in the order of things I'm currently working on =).
1. Tradeskill Quests for 10-50 (Quest Rewards will include)
a. Batch refines for refines that your class normally gets without using the Apothecary, Geomancy, Timbercraft, Weaving skills.
a1. The only exception to this is going to be Sages. They will be getting batch refines using these skills that will assist them with tradeskilling. The drawback for Sages using these refines is they will be of higher cost to make.
b. Upgrades to your current reaction arts and new reaction arts for level 40/50
c. Unique tradeskill armor pieces which increase your practiced skills of your chosen tradeskill subclass.
d. Large Harvesting Bags. These bags like the one granted in the new tradeskill tutorial quest will only hold harvested items but will be able to hold many items.
2. Tradeskills in the upcoming expansion Desert of Flames (Working on this at the same time as the #1).
a. I'm mainly looking at feedback and bugs that arise from the beta testers that are currently helping us with the expansions.
3. Splitting up and adding more NPC's to the tradeskill areas so you can search and find bought components that you use quicker.
4. New harvesting areas that feature specific types of nodes all the time. And example would be if you were by the lumber working area in Orcish Wastes you might find foresting nodes around the area. These will be no where near as plentiful to the other random spawns in the zones and will probably take longer to respawn.
5. New Fabled and Master III recipes.
